52 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the action she intends to take in respect of labelling of beef as highlighted in the Food Safety Authority survey of October 2004; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [29194/04]
View answerI understand that the final report on the outcomes of the survey is in preparation by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland and will be published before the end of December. My Department has not been given a copy of the report because the breaches of labelling regulations identified in the draft report were detected at premises other than those for which this Department has responsibility under the service contract with the FSAI.
