214 Mr. Kenny asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children the numbers on the waiting list for arthritis treatment in the Western Health Board area for each of the past three years; the year of referral from which patients are being allocated routine appointments and the year of referral for urgent waiting lists; the numbers that have been treated under the national treatment purchase fund; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The provision of arthritis treatment is a matter for the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the issues raised and to reply directly to the Deputy.
