View answerNo specific provision has been made in the 2005 Estimates for my Department in respect of the cost of implementing the provisions of the Official Languages Act 2003. Expenditure in this regard will be met from within my Department's administrative budget allocation.

View answerIt is not possible, in the time available, to identify the money spent on the Irish language in each of the past five years as requested by the Deputy.
I have asked my Department to compile the information and I will issue a comprehensive reply directly to the Deputy as early as possible.
