481 Ms Enright asked the Minister for Education and Science if she will sanction temporary accommodation for a school (details supplied) in County Kildare; her policy in this regard; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [31311/04]

An application for temporary accommodation has been received from the school to which the Deputy refers. All applications for temporary accommodation for the 2005-06 school year are being assessed in the school planning section of my Department. These will be considered by reference to the published criteria for the new streamlined temporary accommodation application process announced last September. I intend to publish a list of the successful applicants early in the new year.
