116 Mr. Kehoe asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children if she will consider utilising the facilities under proper medical supervision at Ely Hospital, Wexford town to address the chronic overcrowding at Wexford General Hospital; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for the provision of health services in County Wexford is a matter for the South Eastern Health Board in the first instance. The Department of Health and Children has asked the chief executive officer of the board to reply directly to the Deputy about the matter he has raised.
