Breen asked the Minister for Transport if he has received correspondence from the Irish Drivers Association regarding a request for a meeting; if he intends to meet this group in the near future to discuss its concerns on a number of issues affecting drivers here; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I received correspondence from the Irish Drivers Association requesting a meeting relating to a number of issues of concern to motorists. My officials will be arranging for an initial meeting with this organisation as soon as possible.
