228 Mr. Kehoe asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if there is any ruling within the Garda forces regarding the giving of character references; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5247/05]
View answerI have been informed by the Garda authorities that instructions regarding the issuing of police certificates are contained in the Garda Síochána code. Police certificates of character are issued from district headquarter stations on application.
