237 Mr. J. O’Keeffe asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the details of the report in relation to the proposed coastal barrage for Clonakilty; and if he will now grant the foreshore licence. [7556/05]
View answerA meeting has been held between officials of the Department's engineering division and local authority officials and their advisers to consider matters relating to the proposed barrage. Matters discussed at the meeting included the operating conditions to apply in respect of the barrage. In light of these discussions, the local authority has undertaken to submit revised plans for consideration by the Department.
The revised proposals will be considered as a matter of priority when they are received by the Department.
