View answerThe Health Act 2004 provided for the Health Service Executive, which was established on 1 January 2005. Under the Act, Comhairle na nOspidéal was dissolved on the day the Health Service Executive was established and the functions of Comhairle have been transferred to the Health Service Executive. My Department has, therefore, requested the interim chief executive of the Health Service Executive to investigate the matter raised and to reply directly to the Deputy.
