318 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of incidents reported in the past five years which allegedly have been the work of organised criminals; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16491/05]
View answerI am informed by the Garda authorities that the procedures in place to record criminal incidents are such that the information sought by the Deputy is not readily available. I am further informed that the research and retrieval and verification of data required to furnish the information in question would place an inordinate demand on Garda resources.
