143 Ms Cooper-Flynn asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding the application by a college (details supplied) in County Mayo for a new sports hall and associated facilities; and if the students, staff and parents will be assured that the promised facilities will be provided within the next academic year. The PE hall project at the school to which the Deputy refers has been assessed in accordance with the published prioritisation criteria, which were revised last year following consultation with the education partners. The project will be considered in the context of the School Building and Modernisation Programme 2005-2009.
