View answerThe Irish Society for Clinical Microbiologists, ISCM, is a society of medical professionals with specific commitments to and expertise in infection control. The Deputy will wish to note I have made arrangements to meet the society to discuss avoidable hospital-acquired infection and that this meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, 6 July. Following this meeting, I will meet the delegation representing victims and relatives of persons who have suffered from the MRSA superbug.
