View answerMy Department has an application from the school referred to by the Deputy for a new school building. Officials in the school planning section are considering a number of options for the long-term solution to the school's accommodation difficulties. It is acknowledged that there is no scope for development of the existing site. Therefore, among the options being considered is the possibility of securing a greenfield site in the area and our agents in this regard, the Office of Public Works, will pursue this in tandem with a number of other options being considered by the Department.
The Department acknowledges the need for a solution to the school's accommodation difficulties and is committed to working to achieve a satisfactory solution as soon as possible.
