View answerThe importation of machetes or machets is prohibited under the Firearms and Offensive Weapons Act 1990. A machete or machet is defined as an offensive weapon for the purpose of the 1990 Act which prohibits the manufacture, importation, sale, hire or loan of offensive weapons.
