View answerMy Department has no knowledge of the case to which the Deputy refers, and has no role in either approving or appealing legal costs to persons who have made claims to the hepatitis C and HIV compensation tribunal. The Department's sole function in relation to legal costs in compensation tribunal cases is to make payment on the instructions of the Office of the Chief State Solicitor.
