106 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the position regarding the proposed sewerage scheme for Gweedore, County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [36580/05]
View answerThe Gweedore sewerage scheme is approved for funding in my Department's water services investment programme 2004-2006 at an estimated cost of €22 million. Donegal County Council's preliminary report and contract documents for the scheme will be further considered on receipt of a certificate of completion of planning and a revised water services pricing policy report which have been requested from the council. Once the contract documents have been approved the council will be in a position to invite tenders for the construction of the scheme.
