View answerThe financial provision for the youth work sector in my Department in 2005 is €33.889 million. The additional allocation made available for youth work purposes in 2005 is catering for a number of developments under the Youth Work Act 2001 and the national youth work development plan and for enhancements to existing youth work programmes and services. Some €3.94 million of the additional funding made available in 2005 has been expended to date. The balance will be expended by year end.
