The school referred to by the Deputy has applied for additional accommodation. As part of the assessment of the application, in accordance with the prioritisation criteria an examination of the accommodation needs of all schools in the overall area is under way in my Department. The long-term needs of the school referred to will be addressed as part of that review, and contact will be made with the school authority in that regard.

The project is being considered in the context of the school building and modernisation programme 2005-2009.
