311 Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Transport the value of advertising placed in national newspapers in 2005; the newspapers and the amount received for each of the past five years; and if the placing of official notices and departmental advertisements are subject to a tendering process. The amount of money spent by my Department on advertising, which includes public information notices and official notices in national newspapers each year since June 2002 when this Department was established, is outlined in the table. Official notices and advertisements are placed through Brindley Advertising, which has the Government contract.
