156 Mr. O’Shea asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources his proposals to address the concerns of the chairman of the Southern Fisheries Board regarding the establishment of the National Ireland Fisheries Authority (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. The views of the fisheries board were passed to this Department in mid-February. I have not yet had an opportunity to fully examine and consider the views expressed by the board but hope to be in a position to do so soon and to respond in the not too distant future.
