View answerAs announced by the National Roads Authority, NRA, on 27 January, the NRA has, with my agreement, terminated its negotiations with National Toll Roads, NTR, in relation to the upgrade of the West Link section of the M50. The NRA now proposes to remove the West Link toll plaza in 2008, to install a single point barrier free toll system on the M50 and to compensate NTR in accordance with the West Link agreement. Issues relating to the West Link toll agreement are matters, in the first instance, for the National Roads Authority and the toll operator, NTR.
