276 Mr. Costello asked the Minister for Finance the proposals drawn up by the Office of Public Works for traffic management in the Phoenix Park; the discussions held with Dublin City Council; if he will meet representatives of associations (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. An independent traffic management study is currently being undertaken and there have been extensive consultations on the matter with Dublin City Council.

I have already met with deputations of local representatives on this issue and I am fully familiar with the concerns and reservations of a number of local residents.
