View answerI am aware of complaints by residents in relation to parking problems on the roads in the environs of Croke Park on match days when a large influx of motorists from outside the area park on residential roads for the duration of the events. Dublin City Council has also contacted my Department in relation to this matter. My Department is examining the current legislative provisions that are available to road authorities when applying restrictions and prohibitions on the parking of vehicles to ascertain if the existing provisions can accommodate this type of situation.
