732 Mr. English asked the Minister for Education and Science the number of additional school buses that her Department plans to provide for the fleet in County Meath for September 2006; the number of school buses currently in the fleet in County Meath; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Bus Éireann has informed my Department that there are currently 106 vehicles providing school transport services in County Meath. It is too early to indicate the number of additional vehicles, if any, that may be required for the 2006/07 school year as applications for school transport are still being processed.
