161 Mr. Boyle asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children the number of positions in State bodies under the aegis of her Department which are affected by the increase in non-executive chairpersons’ fees of State bodies recently sanctioned by the Government. [27808/06]
View answerAt present, the board membership of six agencies under the aegis of my Department are in receipt of fees in respect of their service on the board and will, therefore, be affected by the Governments decision to increase these fees. The total number of positions involved is 59. In addition, there are a further seven agencies under the aegis of my Department in respect of which only the Chairperson receives a fee. This brings the total number of persons affected by the change to 66.
