462 Mr. Bruton asked the Minister for Transport if his Department has made undertakings or issued advice to Aer Lingus in respect of the pension cover of employees who transferred from the company to Team (details supplied); and if he has satisfied himself that the pension position of these employees maintain equivalence to Aer Lingus employees and will continue to do so in the event of the part flotation of Aer Lingus. In accordance with Government Policy, in respect to Commercial State Bodies, my Department has no involvement in the funding of this pension scheme. Pension entitlements for employees of commercial State bodies are matters primarily for the Trustee, the members of the relevant scheme and the company or companies involved.
