698 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the position regarding the proposed sewerage scheme for Gweedore, County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [34409/06]

The Gweedore Sewerage Scheme is being advanced in conjunction with the Letterkenny Sewerage Scheme and both schemes have been approved for funding under my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2005-2007. My Department is awaiting Donegal County Council's updated Tender Documents for the combined project.
