178 Mr. Costello asked the Minister for Defence if he has studied the findings and recommendations of the final report on the investigation into the Niemba ambush; if he will publish that report; if he proposes to take action on foot of the report; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the Deputy is aware I undertook during Priority Questions on 12 October to study the contents of the Report when received. I can confirm that I have received the Report from the Chief of Staff and I will revert to the Deputy with its findings when I have had an opportunity to examine the Report in full.
