1448 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Education and Science if she will ensure that the application submitted by a school (details supplied) in County Leitrim under the small school scheme is approved to allow the school to extend the present permanent structure to incorporate three mainstream classrooms, an all purpose PE room, a resource room, a staffroom and office as the school is developing in numbers; and if she will make a statement on the matter. An application has been received in my Department from the school referred to by the Deputy under the Small Schools Scheme 2007. All applications received under this scheme are under consideration and the list of successful applicants will be published shortly.
