View answerThe Department has an application from the school referred to by the Deputy for a new school building. Officials in the School Planning Section of the Department are currently considering a number of options for the long term solution to the school's accommodation difficulties. While no possibility will be ruled out, a site must be in either the Department's ownership or a Patron's ownership before a State funded school building can be provided. The Department acknowledges the need for a solution to the schools accommodation difficulties and commits to working to achieve a satisfactory solution as soon as possible.
