222 Mr. Gormley asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the reason a person (details supplied) who wishes to become an Irish citizen and who has an Irish university degree is unable to remain here in order to pursue a career and contribute to this country with their skills and education; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I understand the Immigration Division of my Department has been in contact with the person concerned outlining the options open to her. The person referred to by the Deputy should now contact the Immigration Division regarding her future intentions in the State.
