Mitchell asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if his attention has been drawn to the alleged irregularities in the Part 8 process for social and affordable housing on a former landfill site (details supplied) in County Dublin; and if he will make a statement on the matter. It is understood from Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council that the Part 8 process for a twenty eight social and affordable housing development at the site in question was completed in November 2006. My Department is not aware of any irregularities in relation to the Part 8 planning process in this instance.
