Visa required nationals who wish to visit family members in this State may apply for a visit visa. Visit visas are issued for short term trips only. The maximum duration for which an Immigration Officer may permit the holder of a visit visa to remain in the State is 90 days. Comprehensive information on making a visit visa application is available on the website of the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service at www.inis.gov.ie.
