179 Deputy Michael Ring asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Finance if in relation to a previous parliamentary question (details supplied) the proposed survey has taken place; the outcome of same; and the action that will be taken to reduce the flooding risk in the future at this location. A survey was carried out by the Office of Public Works and an option to address the flood problem at Belcarra has been identified. The OPW will now contact Mayo County Council to explore the feasibility of this option.
