110 Deputy Ruairí Quinn asked the Minister for Transport the number of programme managers, special advisors, policy assistants, personnel on secondment and other personnel who are not part of the existing Civil Service who make up his Department, including permanent civil servants attached to the office of the Minister and Ministers of State; and if he will make a statement on the matter. There are a total of 5 such personnel not part of the civil service working in my private and constituency offices and in the press office in the Department. In addition, there are 10 permanent civil servants working in my office.
