319 Deputy Damien English asked the Minister for Health and Children the steps she has taken to offset the carbon dioxide emissions caused by Ministerial travel in her Department; and if none to date, the plans she will put in place on the matter. [34270/07]
View answerOn foot of a commitment in the Programme for Government on carbon offsetting official air travel, my colleague Mr. John Gormley, Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, is currently developing a scheme for use by all Government Departments and bodies under their aegis. It is anticipated that these details will be announced shortly.
