634 Deputy Fergus O’Dowd asked the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food the number, cost and name of any media consultants employed by her Department; the cost of such advice for each year since 1997 to date in 2007; the nature of the work done; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Department has not employed any media consultants since 1997. One media consultancy, McMahon Sheedy Communications, was employed from January to June 1997 at a cost of £19,057.50.
