View answerMy Department's Press Office operates a press clippings service that is available to all staff in the Department. The press clippings are provided by an outside agency, which was contracted by the Department following an open tender competition. Each morning the agency e-mails the Department with any clippings from the print media that relate to areas of the Department's responsibility. The press clippings are then e-mailed to all staff that have signed up for the service and are made available on the Department's Intranet. The contract carries a fixed cost of €2,032.80 including VAT, every month.
