494 Deputy Seán Ó Fearghaíl asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform his views on correspondence (details supplied) in relation to the registration of property; if a deed of rectification or otherwise as may be required will be issued in order to facilitate the transfer of the property; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Property Registration Authority that the parties concerned have been in regular contact with the Authority and that an investigation of this matter has been ongoing for several weeks. I understand that a definitive resolution of the matter, which involves records of considerable age, cannot be arrived at until all relevant documents have been inspected. I am further informed that if a deed of rectification is required it will be for the parties concerned to prepare any such deed.
