240 Deputy Olwyn Enright asked the Minister for Health and Children further to Parliamentary Question No. 155 of 29 April 2008, the number of speech and language therapists in Counties Offaly and Laois over the past five years; the average length of waiting lists to see same from 2003 to date in 2008; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Deputy's question relates to the management and delivery of health and personal services, which are the responsibility of the Health Service Executive under the Health Act 2004. Accordingly, my Department has requested the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive to arrange to have this matter investigated and to have a reply issued directly to the Deputy.
