490 Deputy Joe Costello asked the Minister for Education and Science the progress made towards the provision of a new school building for a school (details supplied) in Dublin City; if funding has been allocated; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25828/08]
View answerThe Department is aware of the need to provide a permanent home for the school to which the Deputy refers. It is examining options in this regard, although there has been some difficulty in obtaining alternative, suitable accommodation in the area where the school is located. The Department will be in direct contact with the school authority when it has identified a viable option which it can proceed with in the context of competing demands on its capital budget.
