214 Deputy Brian Hayes asked the Minister for Health and Children when the value for money review of the allocation and utilisation of funds for acute hospitals will be complete; the value of the anticipated savings to the Exchequer due to the implementation of this report; and if she will make a statement on the matter. View answerThe value for money review of the Allocation and Utilisation of Funding in Acute Services in the Southern Hospitals Group, being undertaken by the Health Service Executive, is anticipated to be completed and submitted to Government by the autumn. Once this process is complete, the review will be published and made widely available. The implementation of recommendations arising from the review will also be considered at that time.
