307 Deputy Tony Gregory asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if it is permissible for a person (details supplied) to apply for a passport in respect of their son. [27883/08]
View answerThe Deputy did not indicate whether the son of the person in question is an Irish citizen or a Romanian citizen. If the son of the person in question is a Romanian citizen, he would have no entitlement to an Irish passport but may make an application for his national passport to the Romanian Embassy, 26 Waterloo Road, Dublin 4. If the son of the person in question is an Irish citizen an application for an Irish passport may be made to the Passport Office, Molesworth St, Dublin 2.
