460 Deputy Liz McManus asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs the cost and frequency of travel per month since the beginning of this new Government by Ministers and Ministers of State by means of bus transport, rail transport or air transport by Department and by Minister involved in the travel; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Since the formation of the Government in May 2008, I have taken one official flight to Brussels (in May) costing €250. I have not incurred any costs in respect of rail or bus transport.

There have been no costs incurred for travel by air, bus or rail at Minister of State level for my Department in the period in question.
