622 Deputy Emmet Stagg asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason he has failed to sanction the acceptance of a tender for the required extension to a school (details supplied) in County Kildare and if he will sanction the capital funding for this project. [28507/08]
View answerA tender report in respect of the school to which the Deputy refers has been received by the Department. As is the case with all large capital projects currently on hand within the Unit, its progression will be considered in the context of the multiannual School Building and Modernisation Programme. I am not in a position to say at this stage when construction is likely to commence on the project in question.
