860 Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the reason naturalisation was previously refused in the case of persons (details supplied) in County Kildare; if it is expected that the current application will be successful; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Officials in the Citizenship Section inform me that processing of the applications of the persons referred to in the Deputy's Question are at an advanced stage and the files will be forwarded to me for a decision in the near future. I will inform the Deputy and the individuals concerned when I have reached a decision on the matter.
