Question:1861 Deputy Joan Burton asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to the existence of a school (detail supplied) in County Dublin; his views on whether the service provided there is essential to young people with a learning disability who benefit from it and that those benefiting from this service fall into the category of most vulnerable in our society; if his attention has further been drawn to the fact that a decision has been made to close the facility as a result of the withdrawal of funding by the Health Service Executive and FÁS; if he will review and reverse this decision to withdraw funding in order that this facility can continue in existence; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
