Written answers

An application for a Certificate of Naturalisation from the person referred to in the Deputy's Question was received in the Citizenship Section of my Department in July 2006. The file was submitted to me for a decision recently and I have decided to defer making a final decision on this case. The person concerned was notified of this position and the reasons for it through their Solicitor in a letter issued on 2 September, 2008.
