258 Deputy Andrew Doyle asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a company (details supplied) was chosen to undertake a study of Health Service Executive integration at a cost of €720,000 when there are a number of suitably qualified professionals in Irish universities and public agencies available for this type of work for a fraction of the cost. The Health Service Executive is the appropriate body to consider the matter raised by the Deputy. My Department has requested the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive to arrange to have the matter investigated and to have a reply issued directly to the Deputy.
