274 Deputy Joan Burton asked the Minister for Health and Children the bonuses awarded by her Department to staff members for the years 2005, 2006 and 2007; the number and proportion of staff in receipt of bonuses for each of those years; the average bonus paid; and if she will make a statement on the matter. View answerPerformance awards are made by my Department under a Performance Award Scheme (Deputy and Assistant Secretaries and equivalent grades) and in respect of individual/group Exceptional Performance (Principal Officers, PO equivalent and lower grades) including a staff suggestion scheme.
